Headlands Center for the Arts Artist-in-Residence and Henderson Award for 2026

I’m honored to share that I’ve been awarded a residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Marin County, California, along with the Henderson Award, which provides significant financial support to artists during their time at Headlands and is given in recognition of a mid-career woman-identifying painter. Situated within the dramatic coastal landscape of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the residency offers a rare opportunity to live and work in close proximity to nature while participating in a vibrant community of international artists also in residence. I’ll be joining the program with my family, supported by Headlands’ family house, which makes it possible for us to be in residence together while I focus on new work in the studio.
